Asia Lis is a versatile filmmaker based in Toronto, specializing in video production, directing, , editing. She collaborates with inclusive brands, businesses and artists to creatively tell their stories. With her passion for documentary, each project captures real emotion, captivating cinematography and engaging content.
Her clients include: Shopify, The Future List, Enid Grace My Table, Joe Cross, Immerse Education and Evelyn Bobbie.
Asia has collaborated on films that have been screened and awarded at several film festivals.

"My journey in film started back in 2011, when I moved from Poland to New York City. After buying my first camera I experimented with different styles of photography and took several classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In 2015 I enrolled at New York Film Academy to study video editing. My path continued in Los Angeles where in 2019, with my business partner Niko, a talented music composer, we started a production company, Grounded Production, based in California. The mission of the company was to shoot films that touch hearts and expand consciousness through authentic storytelling.
In the winter of 2020/2021, I moved to Canada and joined Timberline Alpine Academy in Banff, a school focused on outdoor adventure, conservation and film/photography.
Currently, I am developing a feature documentary and finishing a camera trainee program at IATSE 667 in Toronto."
